Roofing websites

A roofing site that is hard to call is losing the storm.

After hail, the homeowner is in the driveway with a phone. They tap the first roofer who shows a real number, names repair and replacement, and looks like the company is still working. A template that says “welcome to our website” does not get that tap.

Score a roofing website

Where these sites lose the job

  1. 01

    The storm window is short

If the number is not tappable, people do not hunt through a menu. They hit back and call the next roofer. Click-to-call belongs in the header, not on a contact page three taps away.

  2. 02

Say the work in the first screen

Repair, replacement, and what happens with insurance should be plain language at the top. A slideshow of stock shingles does not tell anyone you take the call.

  3. 03

    An abandoned footer costs trust

A copyright year from several seasons ago, or a coming-soon line during storm season, reads as a company that might not show up. Homeowners are already wary of out-of-town crews.

  4. 04

The same builder theme shows up three times

Wix and GoDaddy themes get reused across roofing companies in the same city. Photos of your crews and your jobs are what separate you. The score flags the builder. The photos are on you.

What a clearer roofing page does

  • A tap-to-call number in the header.
  • Repair, replacement, and storm work named in the title and the H1.
  • A current copyright year and photos of jobs you actually did.
  • The cities you cover, written out, not “the metro area.”
